On April 30th, SAMO joined the National Park Foundation (NPF) and more than 75 park partners from across the country for Hill Day, a powerful day of action dedicated to protecting and sustaining our national parks and public lands led by NPF.
Hill Day is an annual opportunity for park advocates to meet with legislators and discuss the policies that impact our national parks, public lands, and the people who care for them. By bringing the voices of communities, visitors, and park supporters to Capitol Hill, we ensure that our elected officials understand the importance of protecting and investing in these cherished places.
Now is a critical time to amplify our voices—please join forces with us by contacting your congressional representatives. Tell them you support funding for National Park Service programs, including trail maintenance, habitat restoration, youth employment, and community engagement in our parks. Your voice matters, and together, we can protect the places we love!
