Getting involved helps spread the word through our community about the importance of conserving and protecting our mountains, our home.
Volunteer
There are two opportunities for volunteering with us in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The first one is via the NPS volunteer program which SAMO Fund has supported for many years and provides thousands of hours of stewardship for our local national park. The second is directly with SAMO Fund, providing support at community and fundraising events.
Helping with events is a fun way to spread the word about SAMO Fund to the community. Volunteer opportunities include staffing our booths at street fairs or festivals, helping out at our fundraising events and supporting outreach.
